Was very disappointed as when getting out of lift n the room could not help but notice the floor (5, I think) smelt of stale cigarettes (stunk). Most hotels/motels hav a window/balcony to smoke on but there was none, thus the smell. Also, the restaurant/bar/take away liquor outlet were all apparently closed for renovations and was told to eat in the hotels cafe. My little boy and I actually woke up feeling quite ill in the morning before we had to fly to South Australia. I stayed numerous times at the hotel when it was the "[other name]", as the hotels standard was impeccable and was always welcomed and felt quite at home there so to speak as it suited my needs to a tee. Unfortunately, I would never stay there again or recommend this hotel to anyone as it was of such a poor standard.- 17-Apr-2008 The conierge were less than helpful on several occasions and the room service took 1 1/2hrs to arrive. Overall, the service experience was not positive but the location and asthetics of the hotel are good. - 25-Mar-2008 The Hotel is currently undergoing renovations and the bar is closed.- 16-Mar-2008 |
