I was generally satisfied particularly with the location. A few things rankled though. The shower was woeful even after being "repaired". There was just no pressure or flow even though both were great in the bath. And you couldn't adjust the temperature - it was hot or cold and nothing in between.
Forget the breakfast! A waste of money in terms of range and quality. You can get much better anywhere outside the hotel far cheaper.
Apart from these gripes it was good though.- 17-Mar-2008 Hotel staff were friendly and helpful but the hotel management will not allow staff to call a London Cab for guests. They will call only a mini-cab company with whom they have an arrangement. These cabs are always more expensive than London Cabs. I suspect the practice is illegal.
As a guest, I should not have to walk to Charing Cross Station to hail a London Cab.- 12-Mar-2008 The staff were very friendly and polite and the location is excellent for the embankment which is a great place to stroll and take in the street performers.- 28-Feb-2008 |
