Close by there is a food market and during our visit (Nov. 2008) a craft market, both of which were interesting and gave some insight into French life and culture.- 13-Nov-2008 the Citaadines apartment hotel chain is an excellent choice for families who stay in Paris for an extended period of time as it allows accomodation for a reasonable price, and saving on food expenses. this particular hotel, although not in the center of town, is situated in one of the most vibrant parts of Paris, with great transportaion (Metro AND buses- and I strongly recmmend the later as a frequent means of transportaion because you get to see the city while commuting), and many intersting sites at a woking distance. one of the biggest markets of Paris is just around the corner (Richard Lenoir), and so is the Bastille Opera house. Service is polite and efficient. kitchen appliances are perhaps too modest in number and size.- 29-Oct-2008 This is a comfortable hotel though the room I had was small. Suited me this time because I was travelling alone. Close to the Metro and very helpful staff. Very close to Place de Voges, now my favourite open space in Paris, with many wonderful eating places.- 22-May-2008 |
