 The Hotel Cidadela was excellent value for money. Whilst a little dated and tired in places, overall it is clean, safe, comfortable and spacious.
The staff were mostly pleasant and helpful. The pool was spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and the end time very flexible! Our little balcony and having a fridge in our room (as well as the BBC on our TV!) were added little bonuses!
The main downside of the hotel is it's air conditioning, which did not seem to work. With the main road going past our room, keeping the window open wasn't really an option, so getting the a/c fixed should be a priority for the hotel. Extending the wifi to all rooms will also be a good bonus for the hotel too.- 04-Nov-2009 Breakfast was great. From the room very nice view to sea. - 30-May-2009 We were allocated a suite which was separate from the hotel and was very spacious for the 2 of us. The deco was a bit dated but the room was clean. We had a terrace leading to the pool area which was very nice, though the terrace itself had not been cleaned for a while (but we were out of season - March). Breakfast adequate. Hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Would recommend this hotel for its location and reasonable price.- 03-Apr-2008 |
