 The carpets were dirty but they were putting down new carpets in the hallways the day I was leaving.
Room was small but reasonably clean. If you are in to walking up and down stairs you won't mind because there is no elevator.
In light of the fact that the room cost me $65/night plus tax and most other hotels in the area are 2 to 4 times that much I guess it was worth the money. As the "ole" saying goes, "you get what you pay for". Good chinese food in the area because you are right in the middle of chinatown!- 10-May-2009 hotel needs to be renoveted, carpets have spots, furnitures are pretty old an damaged- 04-May-2009 Despite what is being said in some reviews, this hotel remains a good choice if you are staying there for conferences in McCormick place. The proximity to the conference venue and the CTA train station, combined with the very attractive pricing allow you ease when walking to the conference venue and taking the train to the shopping areas. Do not have too much expectations though - it is purely a place for rest to prepare for a new day. The wireless internet connection in the room is a pleasant surprise though. - 08-Nov-2008 |
