 quirky. lovely hostel. - 07-Apr-2008 This is a very funky hotel in the center of Madrid. The people are very nice and gentle, the facilities are great (free Nespresso, drinks, breakfast and desserts) and the atmosphere is relaxed. The rooms are all styled and colorful. You can enter all night with a digital key. If you don't mind making your own breakfast, and don't need a host to welcome you at night this place is great for you! - 27-Jun-2007 This is good value and much more hip than your average budget hotel. It's almost got a posh boutique hotel feel, but without the prices. The only drawback with this hostal is that it is VERY noisy.
If your room is facing Las Huertas beware, as this is a main going out area. Probably even worse though is noise from inside the hostal -the fact that the rooms/doors are not soundproofed means that in the morning you can hear every word of the conversation in the main entrance and kitchen which was literally right outside our room door. Overall, it's a great find, but not the place to go if you're a light sleeper!- 10-May-2007 |
