Location
Set in the centre of town, Centrum is located only five minutes walk from Copenhagen Central Station, Tivoli Gardens, main shopping street and the Town Hall Square. The location, which is formerly a red light district, has been cleaned up exceptionally well and is now a trendy area with many bars, coffee shops and restaurants.
Rooms
Since it is an old building, the rooms vary in size and shape, many with high ceilings. All rooms are decorated in a contemporary Danish style with warm natural colour schemes.
Restaurant
A sumptuous Scandinavian buffet breakfast is served for hotel guests in the cosy breakfast room, every morning.
General
Guests have the added benefit and value of being able to use the DGI-Byen swimming pool and spa facilities. As a guest at Hotel Centrum, you are welcomed to avail of DGI-byens 81 parking spaces.

 The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was scrumptious and so much choice. The location is near to the station and not far from the centre of city so that is very good, but it could be off putting for some people because of the prostitues on the street day and night, and also some very shady characters hanging around, but there is also very high police presence. We enjoyed our stay in copenhagen and the centrum very much. - 15-Feb-2008 We were there for the Copenhagen Vs Celtic game so didn't actually spend a great deal of time in the hotel but room was clean, quiet, location is close to center, don't be put off by location being next to red light district, it's not right in your face and no problem. Ideal for short term travellers looking for a good hotel providing decent facilities. Staff were friendly and if you wanted you could take up the free leisure facilities it looked good but we didn't have time. I would certainly go back.- 11-Dec-2006 Clean rooms, nice breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel is located in Copenhagens "Red light district", but the area has also become very trendy, so the streetlife were a mix of prostitutes, junkies, alcoholics and young and trendy people. Staying at the hotel also permitted us to use the excellent swimming pool in " DGI-byen" , only a 3 minute walk from the hotel.
