With 30 motel rooms, 12 four-share backpacker rooms and 4 sixteen-share backpacker dormitories, Cavenagh Hotel Darwin has an accommodation to suit everyone's budget. Most of the rooms overlook the tropical pool and courtyard.
Restaurant
Enjoy some of the best food in town, in an alfresco setting, on the courtyard deck. The onsite restaurant serves breakfast and offers an extensive lunch and dinner menu as well as an all day dining cafe menu, including a full range of gourmet coffee. If the pool beckons during the day, the bar is a great place to relax after the sun goes down.
General
There's no doubt that you will spend a stack of time lounging in the stunning pool, located in the central courtyard. Grab a cold beer from the bar and soak up the sun, cook up a meal on the pool Bar-B-Q and then soak in the refreshing cool blue water.

 A very good place to stay at a reasonable price.- 18-Aug-2009 Good location but very noisy Hotel, alive music every night until 3am. Very expensive for a basic room. Young staff extremely friendly.
Not to be recommended except for backpackers.- 11-Aug-2008 Room was good and clean up to the standard you would expect from any decent hotel. But the general atomosphere of th place escpecially in the public areas was that of a backpackers hostel.- 15-Feb-2008 |
