This is a nice hotel in a good location. However, there is no concierge, and one bellboy who I never saw carrying luggage. The front desk staff was aloof. The breakfast buffet is very good. The hallways and rooms are attractive. The metro and airport bus is right outside the hotel. - 29-Nov-2006 Overall a very good hotel which delivers on it 4* rating. Rooms are clean and well equiped, and a nice Spanish lady pops round every evening and turns down your bed and leaves chocolates on the bedside table.
The gym is OK, with a running and bike machine; a bench press but with small weights; and two resistance machines - one for legs and the other for arms. I didn't see the pool.
There's good Wi-Fi coverage provided by Swisscom Eurospot. However the cost for this is CRAZY !!! I don't understand why some hotel continue to charge for internet access.
If you can handle is little bit of street noise (the windows are pretty well sound-proofed) ask for a room on the 5th or 6th floor facing the Plaze de Espana - you'll get an awesome view of the Plaza, the impressive Fira Barcelona and the hills of Montjuic.- 02-Jul-2006 Very good hotel with excellent facilities. Well situated to give every opportunity to see a great city.- 08-Jan-2005 |
