 The Castelli hotel is located in Montecchio area about 7 minutes drive form the town center of Vicenza. It's close to the Autostrada.
The room were we stayed in (Double Classic) is small and the shower and toilet room is a bit outdated. However, everything is clean and gives you everything you need. The hotel staf is very friendly and helpful. Castelli Hotel also has a couple of appartments which are much bigger than the standard rooms. They have a separate livingroom with a kitchen. (only if available) For no extra price the hotel allowed us to switch over to one of these appartements, although we then couldn't make use of the breakfast. It's a good hotel for a good price and give you a nice range to go to al the surrounding town's like Vicenza, Verona, Padova, Bassano end even Venice. Also the mountain area of Asiago is recommended.- 05-May-2008 Nice Hotel, modern lobby, good breakfast except orange juice, good service and free parking.
