Located only 600 metres from the beach, the hotel is 3 kilometres from the centre and 20 kilometres from Huelva. The hotel is situated next to the charming seaside village of El Rompido, in the municipal district of Cartaya. You can also enjoy all kinds of activities such as underwater diving, water ski-ing, horse-riding, trekking, go-karting, cycling and quad routes, available in the surrounding area.

 The room was spacious and very clean with a nice view. Very little English was spoken and the evening entertainment aimed only at the Spanish guests was very low budget. The hotel is located at the top of a hill and there were no restaurants within strolling distance so unless you want to drive at night you needed to be full board. The buffet was a little hit and miss. Some meals were OK with breakfast being the best. Nice to be given option of having meals outside the restaurant. Tapas served at 5pm was a nice touch. Photos give impression that beach is just beyond the pool, but this is not the case - as previously mentioned, the hotel is up a hill and a main road and some scrubland seperates the hotel from the sea. All in all, a good place for long weekend in the sun for a couple, better for families, but personally I would not want my main holiday at this hotel.- 10-Jul-2008 |
