Wonderful hotel, great staff. Everyone had a smile and always tried their best to please. The hotel actually was within a comfortable walking distance of Tiannemen Square, the Forbidden City, the subway, and a hutong. Food in the Cafe was a little pricey.- 07-Feb-2009 Great hotel, but not much English is spoken. We had trouble making spa reservations, communicating with wait staff, etc. If you speak some Mandarin, it's fine. The front desk staff and bell boy staff spoke enough to help us give directions to taxis. Our room was beautiful and relatively cheap; great location near Forbidden City and subway stop. The food was good, elevators are fast. We have no regrets. - 19-May-2008 The only drawback about the room - the water switch in the bath was not completely in order, but with a separate shower in addition to the bath this was not really a big prob.- 28-Dec-2007 |
