 Really lovely hotel. Enjoyed our stay here. Really helpful, friendly staff and super rooms with tea and coffee making facilities (amazing for Spain). Close to a RENFE station with easy access to Madrid and the Comunidad of Madrid too. Alcala de henares is a pretty university town with lots of interesting things to see. The hotel was a bit hard to find when driving but look out for Hipercor and Corte Ingles and there will be no problem. Lovely hotel and hope to stay there again.- 16-Aug-2006 I checked into, knew some english, it helps to know Spanish as most besides (2) employes knew very little english. The place is not close to much of anything. You will need to take the transit bus, however, if you can not speak spanish, the rails there you will get lost in. Thus, if your looking for a cheap place, you will pay for it traveling to the place. If you know spanish, then its a great hotel. However, if youw ant to get out of the city then thats perfect, however, if your notsure. I would not stay at this place. The cabs are the safest, 2 other americans had their passports stolen in the rail and Madrid is not that safe. I found needles in the rails so be careful. At the hotel people are very friendly and do go out of their way to help you out. Its a good hotel, just a long drive from Airport to the hotel, the Rail is less however very unsafe.
