The hotel is great and the location is great but when we arrived we found an opened bottle of vodka in the mini-bar. We only had breakfast on one morning and there was a lovely selection of food but the hot food was in fact cold. I'd stay in this hotel again but I wouldn't spend the money on the breakfast.- 08-Oct-2009 Room lacks some basic four-star facilities, such as coffee and tea maker. But the views from most of the balconies are beautiful as the curve of the hotel means that nearly all get a sea view. The breakfasts are very good and include cava if you fancy an early 'start'. The reception and pool areas are modern. The staff don't exactly give you a cheery welcome, but will help you if you need their assistance.- 13-Sep-2009 We've stayed here about 3 times before so we went back after its refurb. All that has been done as regards the room appears to be repainting and new furnishings. The plastic chairs are horrible. The service is poor, eg at breakfast we were abandoned. No info about where to get coffee/tes but we just went walk about and found the machine. No one spoke to us; in fact, no one attendng at all. if we had not been before we might have felt intimidated. reception unfriendly. On one occasion we parked our car outside hotel and went in to get water to clean off bird droppings. My husband returned with water and told me that he had been observed by receptin who had sent a person to follow him tocheck that he was a resident! There were less than 10 rooms occupied at the time! They did not even recognise us. Not even a Happy Xmas greeting!- 31-Dec-2008 |
