Residencial Horizonte Lisbon"Hotel was fairly basic but very clean and good value for a Capital City hotel, location was directly opposite a metro station, which made it cheap and easy to get get everywhere (approx 10 mins to get into the centre on the Metro). Breakfast was the usual continental fayre, cheese, ham, cereal, bread, yoghurt, cake, serve yourself buffet. Reception and bar staff very helpful. There were a few places to eat within 5 mins walking distance."

Imperial Hotel & Spa Cork"The staff were friendly and had a good knowledge of the area recommending places to eat etc. We found the Spa well worth a visit - though guests need to pre-book into the Spa - charged at a 50% discount. We opted for room service breakfasts and the first morning it was delicious. However, we had to leave the hotel early the 2nd day and were told we couldn't have a hot breakfast until 7.30am but were offered an alternative 'Continental' - the rubbery 'almost toast' with marmalade, 2 packets of cereal, 1 pot of tea and no butter was a huge disappointment - having had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, it was not the lasting memory we expected!"

Quality Hotel The Inchcolm Brisbane"A majestic hotel with lots of history and original wood. The lift is from a bygone era- an open cage with the two doors that need opening. The hotel is small, very clean and quiet and one of the cheapest in Brisbane, especially for how close to the CBD it is. A little bit inconvenient to get to in a car or taxi but over the road from the train station and an easy 5 minute walk to the city. Will definitely stay again."
