A bit hard to find, but then again, so is everything in Venice! Once we worked out where we were, this hotel is very convenient and well priced [for Venice]. About a 5 minute walk from the square; it is located about 30m away from the Priuli hotel that has the reception. We were on the top [3rd] floor [no lift] but the room was great. Spotlessly clean and of reasonable size with Ventian glass lights and ornate furniture. En suite bathroom was great. Breakfast is served on the ground floor in a bright dining room with open air courtyard. Food was excellent.
I would stay there again, as I think the value for money and service was good. For Australians, [at the time we went] it still cost a lot of money, but less than other hotels I looked at; which is why I said the pricing was average because I was comparing to global costs. Good luck!- 30-May-2009 We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay at this hotel. It was easy to find, the rooms were excellent and the breakfast was very good. Couldn't wish for better.- 14-Jan-2009 Very charming hotel. Great location ie quiet but just a few minutes walk from St Marks Square or vaporetto stop. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was lovely - traditional style with huge chandelier and very modern bathroom suite. Not a great TV or English channels but hey, who goes to Venice to watch TV! Buffet style breakfast which was plentiful and lots of choice. All in all, had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.- 05-Apr-2008 |
