 I stayed here for a 3 nite break. The room was more like a mini suite, overlooking a little courtyard with a fountain. Everything was immaculate, the bed was huge, the bathroom faultless and the spa facilities were perfect. It is well above the normal 3 star hotel, the location is unbeatable being right accross from the castle, the heritage park, 2 pubs and nice shops. The staff were extremely professional even though there were 2 weddings and it was a bank holiday weekend there was no noise or disruption. we had breakfast in bed each morning which was ontime and as ordered delivered at no extra charge. the hotel is very well maintained and i thouroughly enjoyed every minute of my stay there. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend this hotel.- 09-May-2008 The hotel was clean, and quiet,very peaceful. The decor was very old fashioned,although just recently decorated. I got the impression they were going out of their way to impress elderly american tour groups, but all in all it was a very pleasant stay.- 10-Jun-2007 I heard music from the floor at 7am until around 10am which was very annoying and I kept waking up.
