 The hotel rooms need a good re-fit. The bathroom was full of rust looking stuff around the bath and toilet. The bed was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs. The light shades were dusty and in need of new ones. The whole hotel could do with a new lick of paint- 17-Oct-2007 The hotel is obviously in need of a face-lift, as it is rather runned down ! However, they compensate with their good front desk service and decent food at the restaurant ( both breakfast and dinner ). It is about 10 mins. walking distance to the pier and park,
and there's ample multi-storey parking space at the hotel.
Price-wise, would rate as average, since the rooms are small, and
with windows opened during summer, the traffic noise does come through ! Would recommend not to stay more than 1 night, if modern comforts is your priority. - 19-Sep-2007 Although the hotel was showing its age and needed some decorations renewing, it was comfortable and clean.
Although situated on a busy roundabout the double glazing worked well and it was quiet in the room when the windows were shut.- 18-Aug-2006 |
