 Kitschy decor from the 80s all looking very tired and dated amply compensated for by the friendly helpful staff, good breakfast and central location. Room was spacious and clean and excellent value for the money- 05-May-2009 Excellent location to explore Birmingham
Our room on 9th floor was clean, quiet and well decorated.
The carpet and corridors on the 9th floor were also excellent.
We stayed for 5 nights.
Not sure that all floors were quite so good.
Outside of Hotel could do with a steam clean.- 12-Apr-2009 Room door would not lock, had to put chair against it.
Filthy bedroom carpet. Battered corridors. Hairs in bath, dirty corners in bathroom, very old worn bathroom fittings. Bedroom curtain hanging off rail on one side.
Long wait without any acknowledgement to book in. Offhand.
