 A real pleasure to stay at the Britania. It has style and the interior is beautiful. Lot of attention to detail in the rooms to stay within the same style. Staff are very helpful. If I go back to Lisbon, I'd go to Britania or another heritage hotel.- 22-Oct-2008 I can only recommend this hotel for very good location (very quiet street just off the main avenue, close to Chiado, Bairro Alto and Rossio), stylish 1940s' flair, incredibly nice staff and spotless cleanliness. Rooms are very large, there is free wireless internet access from the rooms, and a bottle of port wine awaits you when you chill out after a day of sightseeing/shopping etc... - 16-May-2008 Excellent Hotel. Fantastic reception staff - extremely helpful.
And good location too...only 2 mins walk from the Avenida Metro station, 10 minutes walk from city centre...
