Located on the Surfers Paradise Esplanade, the BreakFree Peninsula Resort is just 100 metres from the beach and close to the retail as well as dining hub of Cavill Avenue.

All accommodation units are specially designed keeping your comfort and pleasure in mind. Most of these wonderful living spaces also come with balconies that open out to stunning ocean views.
Restaurant
There is no restaurant available on site. You can visit any of the superb dining options available in the surrounding area.
General
Guest facilities include three swimming pools, children's wading pool and playground, heated spa, tennis and squash courts as well as barbeque facilities and in-room massage. Surfers Paradise's vibrant shopping, nightclubs and a plethora of exciting Gold Coast activities are all within easy reach of the property.

The hotel is undergoing renovation. The outdoor pool will be closed between 15 July 09 - 31 October 09, tennis courts will be closed between May 09 - 31 October 09, Porte cohere will be closed between mid August - December 09 and gardens and BBQ areas closed between December 09 - February 10.

 Issue checking into the Resort - reception closes at 6.00 p.m. (arrived 7 p.m.) consequently were locked out of the building and no clear instructions about how to check in/get a key. Took a bit of time/stress to get over this "hurdle".
The reception staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Facilities at the resort are outstanding. Some areas need a coat of paint to "freshen up."
The apartments themselves are all furnished differently, the one we had was lovely and had air conditioning (not all apartments have this, many just have ceiling fans, so you would need to specially request an apartment with air con.). Our apartment on the front of the bldg and had a sea view (not all apartments have sea views, again need to request this), ideally need to be from the 10th floor up to get a view over some of the trees along the Esplanade to see the beach/sea.
"All in all" a centrally located resort with good facilities for those wanting non-Hotel accommodation. - 30-Jan-2007 Friendly and helpful staff.
