 Stayed at the BreakFree end of July (Winter). The hotel was a great location on end of Hastings Street, near broadwalk & nature walk, plus the beach close by, easy access across the road. Getting into hotel a little confusing, as entrance is on Hastings Street, but reception is at the back off the side street. Rooms are good & clean, our bathroom was a little outdated but was still clean, large with spa bath, adequate to use. Pool is really good, we used even in winter as it is heated and the sun being out made it not so cold. Great apartments, has LCD, DVD, little fridge, small cooktop, everything to cook in room to save some money. Nothing is cheap anywhere on Hastings Street. Would recommend getting a pool side apartment, great for access to pool and watching the kids, we had a second floor apartment with the balcony looking over the pool, which was still lovely. Would stay again.
