 Overal the hotel is very good.
The rooms are a bit small but we have stayed in alot smaller. The bathrooms need renovating but they were still ok. The bar is great, plenty of staff at reception, restaurant very good,lounge area very good and location excellent.- 02-Jun-2008 The hotel is older, but the location is excellent. The air conditioning didn't work in our first room, so we transferred to another room and it was fine. The new room had the kitchen and lounge area downstairs and bathroom and bedroom upstairs, so not good for anyone with a mobility problem. It was very quiet and clean. No view but we weren't in Melbourne to spend time in a hotel room. The service was excellent. The room wasn't serviced daily, but towels and toiletries were left outside the door for us.
