 a block back from the sea front and a block to the side of the main street so very convienient with washing room, parking etc
room clean and tidy, although bathroom and kitchen rather dated, but functional- 14-May-2008 I stayed in room 3 for 2 nights. I found the sound proofing between rooms to be well below average. It was possible to hear and understand what my neighbours were saying whilst they talked at a normal voice level.
One of the adjoining rooms shared my toilet waste pipe, so that if they used their shower, handbasin or toilet the noise of the water rushing through the pipes into my bathroom, even with the door closed, was very loud and woke me on several occasions.
There was also a strange, quite strong and not particularly pleasant smell to the place. I couldn't say what it was but it seemed to be inherant with the room not a left over smell from a previous guest.
Despite this the place was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable.
