Location
Just a 15-minute drive by car to the city centre, the Botel Lisa is located near to the Gubacsi Bridge and has an easy access to the city by public transport. The Botel Lisa sits on the River Danube and is moored on Csepel Sziget Island, a large well-populated island splitting the Danube.
Restaurant
There is a restaurant offering an excellent choice of food and has very pleasant views of the river. There is also a bar in the restaurant area where you can take a sip of your favourite drink.
General
A well-equipped conference room is also available for people travelling on business issues. The lobby is an ideal place for guests to relax or meet friends and business delegates.

 Not too bad a hotel, not a good location (approx 30 mins away from centre by taxi) but it is very cheap. The rooms are small and especially the bathrooms are tiny and the shower curtain sticks to you throughout your shower!
The best thing about the hotel was the outdoor terrace next to the restaurant where you can enjoy a beer right next to the river, it is quite peaceful.- 17-Oct-2008 The service and everyone working at Botel Lisa Budapest was excellent. Prices at the hotel were very reasonable. The location is about 30 mins by bus from central Budapest, however the tranquility of the peaceful setting where Lisa is moored is perfect for the seasoned travellers and also for the refreshing breezes from the river Danube. One can travel from the airport by 2 buses direct to the boat for under £2.00. On board the waiters and reception all speak English. - 28-Aug-2008 Good hotel (Mostly) helpful staff. Had problem with room which was sorted AND manager gave a free meal. Location is fine, just have to use taxis or public transport(HEV) to get into centre. Would stay again.- 30-Oct-2006 |
