 The hotel is everything other reviewers say: helpful staff, excellent breakfast, spotlessly clean. It's location is a problem, though. The hill is not - come on folks, a 5 minute walk up a slope is not a big deal (I am in my 50's, not fit, and yet did it with ease). The problem is the surroundings. There are homeless people and drunks who sleep in the park you have to walk past to get to the hotel. The streets are filthy. I did not feel safe walking alone in the evening in this area. - 04-Sep-2008 An excellent hotel. Very close to the centre of town, and the service was nothing short of excellent. Some of the reviewers complain about the climb up the hill to the hotel - this is nothing really and takes barely 5 mins. Highly recommend this hotel.- 27-Feb-2008 The hotel is centrally located, but will require some hill walking. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
