The hotel was in a good location, near some good restaurants and about 10 minutes from the nearest subway, and half an hour's walk from the Lama Temple. I found the room clean and the service fine. The staff were average, and not particularly helpful though.- 19-Oct-2009 Our room was not available when we arrived at the Hotel so we were given a room that had a very basic clean. Due to the Olympics the prices of the meals (breakfast) at the restaurant had been greatly inflated (+ - 300%) The location is fantastic if you enjoy as we do the "local" life of Beijing. The subway is within walking distance. There is plenty of local food stalls around and also a KFC with great coffee a block away. There is little or no English spoken at reception so you require basic Chinese to ask for information other than checking in or out.- 23-Aug-2008 The most unpleasant feature was a smell in the hotel room, probably due to the moisture. Otherwise good.- 30-Jul-2008 |
