 for the price it was quite good. very good location. Nice and quiet surrondings, but a little bit noise from the underground. - 16-Mar-2008 Having stayed in a serviced apartment in Edinburgh for the same amount of dollars we were horrified to find the conditions in Blue Bells Hotel. The toilet seat was blistered with age and who knows what bacteria. the room was un-aired and smelt. The tube ran underneath the hotel and was noisy, we stayed out as often as possible to avoid having to stay in room. - 21-Jan-2008 Beautiful building, location is nice and quiet. We slept in a twin room on the first floor. Rumbling of subway was not disturbing. Breakfast was basic: orange juice, cereals, milk, toast, butter and jam with coffee or tea. There was a fridge in our room. In the bathroom cold and hot taps were reversed, the rest was OK. Service was ok, a defect tv cable was replaced immediately. - 28-Dec-2007 |
