 Get a harbor view suite. I booked a standard room and it was tiny, more like a ship's cabin than a hotel room. No room to unpack or put my laptop. Hong Kong is all about the view so I splurged (about US $140, still way cheaper than, say, the Mandarin Oriental) for a harbor view suite. Aah! Helpful staff. Free wireless internet is spotty, better in public areas than guest rooms. Nice, if small, outdoor pool. Decent restaurant with good buffet breakfast (not included in room price). Best thing: excellent location near the Mid-Levels escalator, perfect for exploring Central. Worst thing: sign in bathroom that said, "Water must be boiled before drinking." They supplied a small kettle for boiling. A first.- 06-Nov-2009 Upgraded me to the harbor view suite which was amazing! The view was spectacular. There is definitely not enough room for two people in a standard room as there is no room to put a piece of luggage but for the price in HK,it is good.
