 The hotel has a lot of character, but the service in the front desk could be better.- 19-Jan-2008 The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were on the smallish side but very clean and the beds were soooo comfy especially after all of the walking we did. It is located 3 blocks from Union Square and within walking distance to all Muni transportation. There was a bit of traffic noise but it didn't affect my sleep.
I will stay here again.
