 Hotel room was a double but quite small but was actually still very good value for the money. Very clean and in a good location for the bars, restaurants and cafes around Paddington and particularly Queensway. The hot water failed when I was there so no shower in the morning which was really inconvenient. They refunded 20% of the bill for this so it was a reasonable outcome assuming hot water is not normally an issue. Not sure what the hotel facilities are like - I didnt see much but also didnt look for a bar etc as I was out during the evening.- 30-Mar-2008 My son and I shared a superior twin room. The room was on the fourth floor and was beautifully appointed. The shower room(no bath) would also appear to have been recently refurbished. The decor and facilities in the room were excellent (brand new flat screen TV with several channels). I have to admit that we did not make use of the dining facilities in the hotel and cannot comment. The staff were friendly. Only slight downside was noise from the lift machinery.
The hotel is a short stroll from Paddington station from where you can quickly access the tube and rail network.
