 Shower didn't work properly, Air-conditioning in the room didn't work properly. Lifts were slow, Hotel room was very very small - the only good thing about this place is that it's next to Times Square which is a central location to everything in Manhattan.- 21-Oct-2009 There were no safe deposit boxes, neither in the room nor at the front desk. - 02-Sep-2009 Great location.
Only problems I had were -
1) Aircon cooled the area 30cm above the below-window mounted machine and no-where else. I was there in the middle of winter (-5c outside) and the room was too hot! Go figure! Opening the window was possible, but a) did not good and b) filled the room with cooking fumes from way below. Aircon needs fixing. Every one of the 50+ motels I've stayed in US-wide over the last 2 years had better aircon than this.
2) Fire Engines! There's a fire station on the same block to the west. If your room faces this, you may have a rude awakening on some nights. I wear earplugs and still got woken intermittently.
All just my opinions... mileage may vary!
Staff VERY FRIENDLY.
I would stay again for business, but if I was going for a romantic weekend, the problems mentioned could spoil the mood.- 26-Dec-2008 |
