 Friendly, helpful staff. Great location just on the edge of the old town. Walking distance to minster and shopping.- 15-Dec-2008 The hotel is situated within a short walk away from the main shopping area of York including the Minster and The Shambles area of York city centre.
Hotel was easily navigated to using the post code in my Tom Tom and is perfectly convenient for leaving the car at the hotel and walking the short distance to the areas you most likely would wish to visit rather than driving in the heavy traffic and annoying one way system. - 22-Apr-2008 The bar was the alternative to the restaurant for food but had two huge TV screens blaring out football. Considered room service but the tray charge of £4 per person we felt was far too much so we suffered the football.
Bedroom and bathroom were small and heating thermostat didn't work. Compared to other Best Western hotels we have stayed in we felt this was poor.- 12-Apr-2008 |
