 Hotel very good with friendly and helpfull staff.
If you are travelling by train, the taxi service in Sarlat is very poor to non existant, so expect to walk with your luggage from the station to the hotel, (downhill) about a 15 - 20 minute walk, and from the hotel to the the station, (uphill). Taxi availability may improve in the high season.
No parking available at hotel, we were able to find free parking close to the hotel, however we were in Sarlat in the off season.
- 10-Dec-2008 Good property, fair price. Parking may be a problem.- 13-Oct-2008 Both receptionists were very nice and helpful. The hotels location is perfect for visiting Sarlat. The hotel itself was very clean, very quaint, very nice pool and pool area. Bathrooms were dated(yellow and pink!) but were clean and served their purpose.
The only faults I would mention are there was no shower curtain accross the bath, the floor and anything on the sink got soaked. Secondly parking is a little issue, no car park which resulted in tight squeezes into spots accross the road from the hotel.
