 This is the second time we have stayed here and the rooms looked to have been refurbished, ours was very well decorated. What rated as average was the room cleanliness (not cleaned thoroughly) and the room service (minibar and tea/coffee not restocked). Also the bathroom was on the small side and the bath was dangerously slippery (no anti slip surface) and repeated requests for a bath mat went unanswered. Having said that it's an excellently situated hotel, full of character and we weren't disappointed - attention to small details would make it excellent.- 15-Oct-2008 Excellent location and value for money for anyone wishing to visit the walled old Carcassonne. A step back in time and pace of life. Secure parking available for clients of hotel. - 16-Sep-2008 Excellent location with nice garden. We were in annexe next to hotel, would not want to be in Ramparts annexe which is about 250m away.
