 The location of the hotel is great and the staff was very helpfull, however, given that its a small and old city the hotel wasn't really luxurious, I felt like it was less than 4 stars. the rooms are clean but they r old. the breakfast is ok, typical continental breakfast. I was on the 5th floor and the view was amazing. the walk from the nearest tube station is short but uphill. I would recommended it given that the prices are really good.- 14-May-2008 The hotel is well-located, walking distance to a metro stop (10-15min) and to Avenida de los Aliados from where you can head to the Ribeira and all shopping areas. The room was very spacious and kept clean every day. Breakfast was excellent, great variety! Including breads, pastry, jams, juices, hams, cheeses, fruits, desserts, vegetables, yogurt, cereals, butter, hot eggs, milk, coffee. Staff very helpful. There is a supermarket just around the corner. I would definitely stay here again!- 13-Jan-2008 Very friendly service from the frontdesk people.
