 The hotel is very well situated down a quiet narrow street near to St Mark's. The rooms are clean, pleasant, well decorated and a reasonable size. The only real disappointment was breakfast - sweet tinned mixed fruit.
Like all Venice hotels, it was expensive.
The free water taxi ride to Murano sounded good, and indeed it was, except that the hotel clearly has an arrangement with one of the glass makers, into whose workshop you are unceremoniously delivered for an interesting demonstration of glass making, followed by hard sell of their ghastly products.- 23-Oct-2005 After staying in London we found the hotel to be quite spacious and staff to be very helpful. We even managed a few Italian lessons. They assisted us with our luggage, directions and tranfers onto our cruise. Pricing was also much more competitive then London.- 19-Aug-2005 Reception staff prior to arrival supplied information by e-mail on how to get to the hotel with taxi pricing and during the stay were friendly and helpful. I have stayed at hotels world wide and would recommend this one over many more expensive and luxurious ones. Highly recommended.- 07-Mar-2005 |
