 The hotel was in an idyllic location, with beautiful woodland surroundings. Standard room was spacious and well equipped. Because of its remoteness, it is more convenient to eat an evening meal in the hotel. The Brasserie had a range of food reasonably priced and the Restaurant had two excellent set gourmet meals (which unfortunately had not changed when we re-visited four days later), as well as pricier a la carte choices. Would recommend!- 30-Apr-2008 The hotel was excellent and was perfect for our needs. The only complaint was that when we tried to reserve a table (in French) we were told "No need to do so". However if we had turned up for dinner 20 minutes later than we did then we would not have got a table!
The hotel is a "Golf Hotel" and it would have been useful to have seen more details on pricing and availability of golf on the website and in the hotel itself.- 12-Sep-2007 A little off the beaten track, gps position would be a great advantage with the hotel information, however satnav got me there. Once there the setting is magnificent, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, to the point the bistro was booked and they allowed me and my family to have the same menu and eat in the resturant, which was superb, food was very good and service attentive, family room was well above average and very comfortable, breakfast was plentiful and good, check out was swift and hassel free.
9 out of 10 in my book, would stay there again if in the area, recommend to golfers, if accompanied by non golfer there is swimming pool, terrace etc, plus other bookable activitys during weekends i belive. VV good!!- 03-Jun-2007 |
