Best Western Amsterdam Airport Hotel Uithoorn is located 9 kilometres from Schiphol International Airport. Uithoorn is a nice village at the Amstel River were you can enjoy the different cycling and walking paths seeing astounding flora and fauna. Furthermore you can visit many museums, exhibitions and attractions in the nearby area.

 People were very friendly and helpful, in spite of our unsocial hours of arrival and departure. Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. It is a very nice, privately run, small, hotel.
It took 30 mins. from the airport, which was more than we were expecting, and the taxi fare was c. E30 (no hotel bus).
It used to be called the "Tulip".
Easy to confuse with the "Best Western Amsterdam Airport Hotel", which is part of a chain, modern, closer to the airport, and much less friendly.- 02-Nov-2007 We think staff is very friendly, facilities are not very sophisticated, nor is the kitchen. No wine list, no menu ( but it was on Sunday, we only by accident could dine there at all, so after all, we had luck))
Room facilities are OK but rather simple, it is difficult to place your things for shaving and tooth paste etc. somewhere in the bathroom.- 20-Apr-2007 Everything was excellent, it was our second visit which speaks for itself, and if visiting again I would have no hesitation in returning.
