 Nice hotel and very nice location. Administrative staff is very helpful.- 31-Mar-2008 Good price for the location right at the bottom of the Montparnasse Tower, seconds (literally) from the Metro and Paris' best Couscous restaurant "Chez Beber's". However, no iron & ironing board in the hotel, no restaurant and wallpapered wooden room partitions that make a phenomenal noise when the near volcanic force radiator is turned on. A long pillow and bed cover combination was the low point, laying back to watch the small television, the odour of a thousand heads drifted gently into my nostrils and the immediate question regarding cleaning frequency came to mind. A UV light and strong constitution is recommended. Ear plugs too, because great location = lots of early morning/late night noise.- 23-Jan-2008 Excellently placed a few steps from a metro station (Montparnasse Bienvenue). Our room on the 5th (top) floor overlooking Rue d'Odessa was small but clean and quiet. This is a typical mid-range Paris hotel and all that is needed for a place to shower and sleep. We didn't take breakfast in the hotel but used the convenient cafe/bistro next door. Desk staff were friendly and courteous. Overall the hotel satisfied our simple needs.- 04-Jan-2008 |
