 In this part of Tioman there is nothing similar for the home comforts. Transport can be a severe problem in the peak seasons, not only around the hotel complex but to and from town.- 07-Sep-2005 We were upgraded to the Club room, that was fantastic. The Club rooms are much bigger than the normal chalets and closer to the golf course as well as the jetty. However they are far from the main resort facilities/restaurants and transport is a problem, especially if you have small children who do not want to walk an inch extra. Even tho'' the hotel claims there is one every half an hour, there is never one available when you want it. - 07-Sep-2005 Our first impression was not great, as it was during Chinese new year holidays and the place was packed! Plus, the hotel had gotten our rooms wrong and so instead of connecting rooms (we have two small children) we had rooms in different parts of the hotel. However, what the hotel lacked in competence they made up for in friendliness, as everyone was very helpful in trying to get us sorted out. After the holiday crowds departed the place became very lovely and relaxing (lesson: don''t go at a peak season!). The rooms are large and comfortable, if somewhat basic. The feel of the place is very relaxing and wonderful for children. Overall we would recommend the resort for a nice relaxed family holiday.- 07-Sep-2005 |
