 It is a long way out of town - 40 minutes up winding roads. The free hotel shuttle for 10 people goes once a day otherwise it''s 400 baht each way with a taxi but you do lose a lot of time. The restaurant at the hotel is very reasonable (most dishes 200-250 baht) but the food isn''t that great! Otherwise the resort once you get there is great - fantastic scenery, peace and quiet but everything is just too far away...- 07-Sep-2005 The hotel is good except that it''s located in quite a far distance from the downtown. Unless you are prepared to stay only in the hotel to enjoy your holiday otherwise please select a hotel in the city area. The scenery around the hotel is beautiful and and the staff are nice. One more thing, the transfer from the hotel to the downtown is quite expensive, so please consider it as part of choosing this hotel.- 07-Sep-2005 The hotel was lovely. The setting is delightful and the staff wonderful. It is a definitely relaxing but not the place for action. We enjoyed the meals on the terrace to live music in the evenings and the pool in the late afternoon. We rented the Belle Villa minivan and driver for excursions in the daytime; driver very friendly and price reasonable. Would definitely recommend!- 07-Sep-2005 |
