 A red carpet will greet you on arrival. This is a peaceful hotel despite break time at the neighbouring school. Rooms are small, but you won’t be there much. Staff are polite and will advise you on restaurants if asked. A short walk will take you to the most bustling local nightspot in town.
The hotel is conveniently placed very close to the Galleria dell' Accedemia and a vaporetto stop. 2 stops and you’re at Piazza San Marco, or walk via the Accedemia bridge. Enjoy, Salute!
- 09-Jun-2003 If you want to stay in a medium priced hotel in the quiet Accademia area of Venice, away from the throng of hotels around San Marco, then Belle Arti is an ideal choice. Good for art lovers, as it is situated directly behind the Academia gallery, five minutes walk from Peggy Guggenheim gallery and a couple of waterbus stops from Palazzo Grassi. Also, if you are getting the waterbus from the airport, stay on it until the last stop (after San Marco) to Zattere and Belle Arti is only a five minute walk away.
