Centrally located on 40th Street between Park and Lexington Avenues, the Bedford Hotel is in the heart of midtown Manhattan, in the quiet Murray Hill area. Located within an easy walk are such attractions as The Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, United Nations, the theatre district and all of Fifth Avenue shopping.

 We stayed in a very big triple room. The room and furniture was rather old but the small bathroom newly renovated. However, everything was clean and free internet connection available in the room.
If you let the hotel fix a taxi to the airport, make sure to check the price with the driver. We had to pay $15 more than agreed at he hotel.- 15-Apr-2008 Large comfortable suite although bathroom a bit small everything else was great. Would highly recommend.- 21-Mar-2008 Myself and a "large" group of friends had an enjoyable stay at the Bedford midMarch 2008. Staff very helpful even when busy (check-in was a bit of a squeeze). The location is very handy for Grand Central Station and the green line subway downtown or the Shuttle across to Time Square. Ask for one of the refurbished rooms if possible (we didn't and should have). Recommendations; Scotties Diner on Lexington between E40th and E39th (as long as you're not stinking drunk at 3am - oops!), Peter Dillons bar on E40th just the other side of Lexington.- 21-Mar-2008 |
