Location
This hotel is located just outside the centre of Interlaken. It is set in its own pretty gardens. Interlaken West station is a 10minute walk away.
Rooms
The rooms with no facilities are small and as the name suggests they are not equipped with private bathrooms. However, they are decorated in a similar cosy style to the standard rooms and therefore the quality is still very much ok. The communal bathrooms are located along the corridor - really not so inconveninent.
Restaurant
The restaurant is located on the ground floor just off the lobby. Long windows down two sides of the room give onto the pretty mature gardens, whilst the room itself has a cosy, rustic feel.
General
This is a really high class 3 star hotel which puts many 04stars to shame. The rooms with no facilities allow you to experience it "at a discount." It comes highly recommended. PL 06/07

 the ambiance and room size are very comfortable
the special touch of welcome package including bus pass is very thoughtful and comparable to higher grading hotels
service attitude is conscientious
will recommend to others
location is perfect - near bus stop and walking distance from main street, but also enjoying the tranquil of surroundings of the countryside
the only drawback is the rooster crowing and chiming of the city bell are very noisy during dusk especially when we have to open the windows for ventilation
