 Very spacious and modern compared to others we have stayed in in NY City. Nice to have a kitchen-especially the micowave and fridge. The only complaint was the bad mattress on one of the beds.- 26-Mar-2008 We are aware that NYC hotel prices have gone up as the Euro has gone down.
We have been loyal visitors staying at the Beacon since 1988. We are very happy with location and facilities in the Upper West side neighborhood and have paid the price each year even though it has continually gone up in price. Sadly to say it will soon be out of our price range and we will be forced to find another place to stay. The Beacon seems like home and we do not look forward to this.- 18-Jan-2008 I really recommend this hotel to second-time visitors to New York; it's in a great area that I would never have got to know otherwise. It's not in MidTown but a major subway staion is 2 blocks away, great shopping 6 blocks away and it's right by Central Park.
I stayed in a suite which worked out cheaper - well equipped kitchen and there's a supermarket across the street.- 21-Nov-2007 |
