 The hotel may look old on its exterior however the interior had been well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful when I requested for a change of room location which only take less than 5 minutes to be done. All the room facilities had been well maintained and in good working condition. The hotel is only walking distance away from historical sites and Jonker Street (where all shopping can be done and nonya food to satisfy your tastebud). This is my 3rd visit to City Bayview and I would recommend the place to my friends and family as it''s value for money.- 07-Sep-2005 Location of the hotel is good...10 minutes stroll from Stadhuys and other places of interest...can get a cab easily in front of the hotel and there are convenience stores right next to the hotel. I had a great stay!- 07-Sep-2005 We were pleasantly surprised that the rooms were big and cosy, as the kids had much room to play and monkey around. Near the hotel were 24-hour convenience stores, a hawker centre, above average restaurants at reasonable prices and shops selling Malaysian food and stuffs. If one enjoys walking, the hotel is within 15-20 minutes walking distance to almost all the places of interests. A definite recommendation to your friends and loved ones.- 07-Sep-2005 |
