Situated in a beautiful natural bay in the port of Mahon, Barcelo Hamilton Hotel Menorca Island is 800 metres from the crystal clear waters of Cala Padera. This property is close to the Trpuco's Hamlet, Fort Marlborough and Mola's Fortress, while the airport is 7 kilometres away.
Rooms
The hotel features 162 guestrooms that are tastefully decorated and skilfully furnished with several modern amenities.
Restaurant
The onsite buffet restaurant serves both local as well as international cuisine in an informal atmosphere. Offering panoramic views of the sea, the cosy bar is an ideal place to unwind with a fine drink.
General
The hotel offers well-appointed conference rooms for organising your important business events. After an exhausting day, you can workout in the state-of-the-art gymnasium, have a bracing dip in the swimming pool, re-energise your body in the jacuzzi, relax at the solarium or avail the massage service.
 Due to me being on a medical diet, the food on offer was superb. There was lots of choice for every meal that suited both myself and my wife. The restaurant staff were particularly helpful and attentive.
The down side was the size of the pool and availability of sun shades/umbrellas, but I could have lived with this better if the hotel rule of not allowing reserving of seats was rigourously applied.
