 The worst room I have ever seen.- 17-Mar-2008 We were a party of four older guys on a short break to Riga off-season (Sept 2007). Very impressed with this hostel - newly renovated and very clean. We were given two rooms for four people even though there were only the two of us in each room. Quite a few cheap bars and cafes roundabout and only minutes from the main railway station. The old town is a mere five minutes walk away......the nicest way is to head through the park to the Opera House. Taxi from the airport was a very fair 7 lats (£7) but for the journey back we were charged 15 lats (£15) as there was heavy traffic. Ok not a fortune but when we go again we will use the 22 bus which is only 20p. this hostel is well recommended for value for money.- 22-Sep-2007 |
