 slightly odd hotel but clean and comfortable and well located. - 10-Apr-2009 The Balbi Hotel is a very good, very clean hotel. It's not a fancy hotel at all but is exceptionally clean and well situated. Excellent value for money. A big plusis that it is easy to find if arriving in Genoa by train - it is within walking distance. The only drawback is the hotel is on the third floor and there are no lifts. Staff were very pleasant and very very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and if you are lucky enough you may get a room with a beautiful fresco on the ceiling. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. I stayed at the hotel in November 2007- 12-Dec-2007 did not like the 4 flight of stairs should have mention it in there advertising as for older people its too much- 02-Dec-2007 |
